Hepatitis D is a liver disease which is caused by hepatitis D virus . It is a defective virus and can only affect in the presence of hepatitis B virus .Liver is a very important organ of the body which not only provides us with energy but also helps excrete wastes of the body . So this liver disease can even take life .

Prick of the hospital staff by affected needles

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
The disease presents with the followings signs and syptoms
Jaundice
Weakness
Anorexia
Nausea
Vomiting
Vomiting
Joint pain
Dark urine
PREVENTION
Try to control hepatitis B from spreading because controlling hepatitis B will indirectly contrl hepatitis D
Prompt treatment of hepatitis B can prevent against hepatitis D
Safe sex
Avoid needle pricks
Nose and ear piercing by clean instruments
